The boat is a 17-foot Nitro Bass boat with plenty of deck space for fishing . It is powered by a 135-horse power Mercury outboard motor. Two depthfinders are onboard for everyone's viewing pleasure.

You may bring your own equipment. If not, all equipment will be supplied. The rods are Shimano Compre, with Shimano Catala reels. When fishing with live bait, it will be provided at no extra charge.

Fishing trips can be full days (10 hours), $225.00, or half days (5 hours), $150.00. When fishing for a full day, we will take a break at a park or on an island and lunch will be provided at no extra cost!

Catch 32 Guide Service is owned and operated by Jim "Beanpole" Olson. The nickname Beanpole, comes from my freshman year in high school. I was 6' 2" and about 110 lbs. As my high school years went by, I grew to 6' 7" and  190 lbs. so the name stuck. The number 32 comes from my basketball jersey number in college.

My Grandfather guided on the famed waters of Vilas County in northern Wisconsin for mostly musky. My father guided as well in the Tomahawk, Wisconsin area for several years and is now retired.

In Tomahawk, the Wisconsin River flows into Lake Mohawksin which is a reservoir created by Pride Dam. It is joined with the Somo and Tomahawk Rivers. Lake Mohawksin is where I do most of my fishing. Muskies are my obsession, however Walleyes, Northern Pike, and Smallmouth Bass are plentiful as well. Lake Mohawksin is not the only body of water in the area. There are several lakes within a 30-minute drive that we do fish for the same species as well.

The Tomahawk area has several hotels, resorts and campgrounds available.  Finding somewhere to stay should not be a problem.

While planning a trip, please call a week or two in advance to make sure of availability. Looking forward to helping you "Set the Hook!"

We proudly use Shimano rods and reels and Cortland fishing line as well as other fine products in our endeavor to make your fishing outing an enjoyable outdoor experience as well as a success.
